You can post to a forum by clicking on "Community", selecting "Forums" and then clicking the Forum topic that pertains to your post (i.e. Open Houses, Listing Updates, etc). As long as the forum topic has an envelope icon next to it in the list of forum topics, the post will be emailed. Once you have clicked into the appropriate forum, select "new topic" in the upper right under your profile info and above the other posts. Add a short title in the Subject area, then type your message into the box. You can preview your message by using the preview tab found in the banner at the bottom. Once the message is ready to go, use the add message tab as found in the bottom banner. As the sender of the email - you will not receive a copy of the email, however, if you go to the forum page and look at the topic you posted to, you should see your post listed there.
When you create a forum post you can easily insert a hyperlink to the
property.
This will take your viewer directly to the property you are featuring. Here are the steps to do this:
From the My Listing administration menu - Select "my listings"
Find the property you wish to feature.Click on the underlined address of the property to open up the listing sheet. Copy the URL at the top of the screen it should look like this: http://my.linkmv.com/Listings/xxxxx (please note that the 5 "X"s are the property ID number) Paste this URL into the forum post.
Once your forum post is ready to go - use the preview button (found in the bottom ribbon of the forum post) In the preview view - click the hyperlink to verify that it opens up the listing. If you are happy with your post just use the "add message" button to send it out. (also found in the bottom ribbon of the forum post)
